KELLY BENSIMON’S COLORFUL HOME

If you haven’t seen this video of Kelly Bensimon’s New York City apartment take a peek below. It’s kind of crazy, but then again, your home should be a reflection of yourself and Kelly is definitely a little wacky! I’m loving her pink couches and Hermes scarve pillows. Can you believe she just pulled them out of her closet and sewed them up?! Ohh I wish I had some extra Hermes lying around! I think I could do without the horse though…

  1. lord, i would love to have ONE hermes scarf to tie around my shoulders, much less enough in bulk to make throw pillows out of! thanks for sharing :)

  2. LOVE her apartment! The horse is a little strange if you ask me, but I love her pink sofas and kids' artwork in the house! Oh and that closet isn't too shabby either ;) Fun stuff, thanks for sharing!!

  3. I gotta give it to her – I really like her space. Would love to hang out there. But not on the horse…

  4. The horse is ridic. to me, everything else is pretty amazing! Love her style, her personality…at least on the show, that is another matter…

  5. Thank you for sharing. Personal expression is an amazing thing. Diving back into the world of blog. Sorry to be so out of touch.

  6. I'm glad somebody did a post on her space. Seeing their apartments is one of my favorite parts of the show. Jill's is a little over the top for me. I like Kelly's, but I agree with you about the horse :)

  7. The washer and dryer facing the living space and so centrally located and visible is horrendous! First thing you do after coming in the door is be confronted with that tower of ugly appliances. And there is no purpose to the large counter. It’s not for food prep-since it would be VERY inconvenient for that purpose and there is no sink and no storage below. It’s just a big surface with no point. Sort of like Kelly.

  8. hi kelly-
LOVE the Hermes pillows. I have been collecting for so long and never could figure out what to do with my old ones.
PLEASE tell me what you stuffed them with down or ???? and also how did you sew them without tearing the delicate silk???
