Last night, while searching for images of Babe Paley, I serendipitously came across this image from the Michael Kors 2009 Resort Collection which drew inspiration from the famed socialite and style icon. I couldn’t help but feel a bit of deja vu and immediately searched my files for the above image from J.Crew’s Spring 2011 Collection. Similar, right? I adore the pink on pink in both ensembles and only wish I had seen those ikat bermudas back in 2009. I’ll just have to hold out for J.Crew’s scalloped shorts and keep my fingers crossed that they’re flattering!

Wow, two great choices to think about on a wintry day. Love the scalloped ones but think my legs will look better in Bermuda ones.
I don’t wear much (if any?) pink in the winter months, although I love the color! My summer clothes have more pink in them…looks so nice with a sun kissed body!

Gah, I can’t decide… I love pink and I’m into the whole monochormatic looks that have been declaired for Spring 2011 but I just don’t know if pink on pink is too tooo preppy for my taste! I guess we will both have to give it a try in the privacy of the J.Crew dressing rooms to really decide!! When will spring be here??
