I came across Henry Isaacs’ work via the Kennebunkport Festival and haven’t been able to get it out of my mind since. His dreamy seascapes with their moody blue palettes remind me of home and being by the water, something I desperately miss now that I live in DC.
We had briefly discussed a trip to Maine this summer (among a million other destinations and hair brained road trip ideas) and suddenly it’s shot straight back to the top of my list. I’m already picturing the perfect spot to hang my Henry Isaac masterpiece..
P.S take a peek at some of his work that is being sold to benefit one room school houses in coastal Maine.

I’m so glad you shared Henry Isaac’s work today! And you should most definitely keep a trip to Maine at the top of your list – there is no place better in the summer. I’d be more than happy to share my favorite spots with you if you needed recommendations!
Thanks so much! I’ll be sure to shoot you an email if we end up going!
awwww! that’s soo easy on the eyes, thanks for sharing
My husband and I love Kennebunkport and I knew nothing of the Festival … thank you!!! It is on our list for June!! Love Henry Isaacs!!
Oh those are so pretty. I love the colors and the use of brush stroke.
