It’s hard to believe we’ve been in our new place for almost four months. Am I even allowed to still call it “our new place” if it’s been this long? We’ve made quite a bit of progress (i.e painting every single room and ceiling. They were all brown when we moved in, yes ceilings too) but now it’s time to make some of the bigger decorating decisions.

The living room in particular has been a challenge but I think I’m finally starting to wrap my head around it. I’m gravitating towards a classic palette of blue and white punctuated with accents of turquoise. Of course now that I’ve somewhat come to a decision, the rug I fell in love with is on back order. Isn’t that always how it goes?
