ART LESSON: KATE LEWIS

We recently decided to create a gallery wall that wraps around our entire stairwell. It’s almost completed, I just need a few more beautiful pieces to fill it out.

Enter Kate Lewis. I’ve long been a fan of her colorful interiors and still lifes. The interiors she captures in her art are completely in line with my aesthetic. Stripes, suzanis, Elkins chairs and flowers galore! I happen to have a birthday coming up and an original piece of artwork is quickly climbing to the top of my list! I’m partial to “Big Orange Chair”..

P.S did you recognize Nate Berkus’ living room from the last painting? Stunning, right?
