I’m having a hard time accepting that my vacation is over and a new work week has begun. To indulge myself in a bit of escapism, I thought I’d share one of my favorite outfits from my trip. A vibrant ikat Alice & Trixie maxi paired with a neon yellow wicker clutch and my staple Jack Rogers was the perfect ensemble for a casual dinner with friends and family. I think I’ll be re-visiting my photos often this week as I ease back into the daily grind. A quick dose of ikat and neon brings me right back to the beach!

I think vacation time should come with an extra two or three days attached at the end for us to get over withdrawals from the beach. It’s cruel to be expected from going from basking in the warm sun to being blinded by the florescent lights of a cramped office with no windows. But photos from the trip can help to ease the transition.
