A classic fisherman’s sweater is one of my fall staples. I like to layer mine over a chambray button down and pair with minnies for the ultimate casual weekend ensemble. Gwyneth, of course, looks a million times more chic with her polka dotted shorts, but I’m not even going to try and compete with that!
Can I let you in on a secret? The best fisherman’s sweater can be found in the most unlikely of places.. the LL Bean boys department! I have the classic cream in a size L and loove it. The fit is a little bit slouchy so I might even size down to a M when I buy the heather grey this year.
Do you love the fisherman sweater as much as I do? How do you style yours?
Normally I’m not drawn to neutral spaces, but there’s something about this home that keeps me coming back for more. The white walls and wide plank floors are the perfect backdrop to off-set that stunning ticking stripe armchair. Can’t you imagine curling up with a good book on a Sunday afternoon? That’s what I’d like to do in this space.
P.S How great is the eye poster in the dining room? Very Great Gatsby, don’t you think?

Green has always been my sister’s favorite color and one that I’ve passed over for warmer shades like orange and pink. This season, green is showing up everywhere and it’s definitely starting to turn my head.
