Today marks the start of New York Fashion Week. I won’t be among the stylish at Lincoln Center, but I will be looking forward to the street style photos. For me, it’s the details that make an outfit stand out. An interesting mix of color and pattern, statement accessories, the unexpected element. I realized that these same things are what draw me to the interiors I love.
Take the outfit and room above (both recent additions to my Pinterest boards) as examples. Who knew leopard paired so well with yellow? Or that a pop of pink is the perfect way to off-set the combo? In each case it just works and actually looks more timeless than trendy. I’m definitely taking notes!
I would have never thought of adding the pop of pink, but it works so well! I am so excited to see all the fashion photography as well. I’m sure NYC is just brimming with excitement right now.

Very Nice combination here, I like what I see. Usually not a big fan of leopard spots on furniture or clothes for that matter, but it does work well here.
