Let’s ease into the work week with these shots of Alina Cho’s apartment from the latest APT with LSD, shall we? The entryway is by far my favorite room in her apartment. The deep chocolate walls, pink satin chairs, and leopard runner just scream old school Hollywood glamour to me.
Side note: see that watercolor in the last picture? It was a gift from Ruben Toledo on President Obama’s inauguration day. Ruben’s wife, Isabel Toledo, designed the First Lady’s citron lace dress and coat that she wore for the occasion. When CNN showed up at their apartment to get the scoop, Ruben painted this illustration for Alina and included a swatch of the famous lace. What a keepsake!
Leopard + pink would be scary to me on paper, but I love the way she’s put it together here. Really stunning!
I love the girlie home….there are some great ideas…loving the pink with zebra.
If I ever had the opportunity, I would definitely go with this …..I never thought I would love pink/zebra, but it’s fabulous!
