I’ve had the above image saved in my inspiration files for the longest time. The faux coral centerpiece is just so striking against the collection of blue and white china.
I started thinking about how to re-create the look and realized it would be pretty simple. All you need is a bunch of manzanita branches and few coats of glossy red paint! Such a simple project that will make a huge visual impact. I’m thinking of trying it out for our Thanksgiving table. Wouldn’t the faux coral be gorgeous in a big blue and white ginger jar?

I just finished doing this for the center piece of my dining room! It looks great. I actually just went outside and plucked a couple tree branches and used left over paint (valspar’s Cinnibar) from my red den! It took me at most 30 minutes and 0 dollars! Thank you so much for sharing this DIY idea.
