The Pursuit of Style

We went to see The Nutcracker this weekend and as always, I was completely inspired by the costumes, set design, and elegance of the ballet. It really is magical. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to sit through a performance without secretly wishing I was a ballerina.

Toe shoes might be out of the question, but I think these Chloe ballet flats would fill the void quite nicely, don’t you?

P.S I’m still incredibly saddened by the events in Newtown, CT. To be honest, I haven’t quite felt like posting. Everything just seems hollow in comparison to those beautiful little children I can’t stop thinking about. Ultimately, I thought posting might be a welcome distraction to anyone feeling similarly. #PrayForNewtown

  1. I know its hard to not think of those poor families. Everything I’m doing seems so unimportant in comparison. Little angels.

  2. I really need to get a tutu! I am obsessed. And I’ll take those Chloe flats to wear with it please. Ugh I am so sad too. I watched an interview with parents of one of the victims and I just can’t stop thinking about it. YOu are really puts things into perspective. xo

  3. I’m right there with you, lady. It feels like nothing is worthy of sharing with all the saddens that people are experiencing 🙁

I have dreamed of being a ballerina for what seems like forever! Just can’t get enough of the costumes!
