-Embracing my inner book nerd. Dark Places (by the author of Gone Girl) and Room were haunting but page turners. Grace: A Memoir was a decidedly lighter read but an interesting look at how the fashion industry has changed over the past forty years. In Season, a collection of New York Magazine’s most popular recipes, has to be one of the most beautiful cookbooks out there. The recipes are delicious and categorized by season which I find super helpful.

-Making my list and checking it twice. I kept mine realistic, but this Burberry belted coat and emerald Yves Saint Laurent clutch are what dreams are made of.

-Indulging in the most amazing grilled cheese sandwich EVER! Full disclosure: I made these for dinner twice this week.

-Looking forward to getting dressed up to see The Nutcracker this weekend. One of my favorite holiday traditions.
