Sophie Tunic | Neon Yellow Pouch | Ritika Top | Neon Pink Pouch | Sophie Tunic
There was a great article in the Wall Street Journal this weekend about Stephanie von Watzdorf and her new-to-me label Figue. After reading about the gallery wall in her apartment which includes: “a dancer clad in the exotic costumes of the Ballets Russes, a sketch of a young man by Pablo Picasso, a series of ’70s vacation snapshots by Slim Aarons” I knew there was a pretty good chance I was going to adore her line.
The clothes are just as chic as you would expect from a designer who has done stints with Yves Saint Laurent, Giorgio Armani, Ralph Lauren, and Tory Burch; but what I love most about the collection is its gypset spirit. Maybe it’s my vivid imagination, but I can easily picture myself wearing one of her Sophie tunics while wandering around a souk in Morocco.
Do I have any such exotic travel plans on my calendar? Nope. But if I did, I’d want to have a piece or two from Figue with me. Until then I’ll get lost in Figue’s Travel Log which has already provided me with hours of inspiration!

Holy. Those clutches and those tunics. To die.
I adore the tunics!!!
