Let’s take a moment to admire the work of Connecticut based interior design firm, Lynn Morgan Design. A trip through their portfolio brought me right back to my New England roots in the best of ways. I’m especially taken with that first photo. You really can’t go wrong with classic navy and white. Especially when Quadrille’s petite zig zag is involved–one of my all-time favorite fabrics.
Not one to be pigeon holed into coastal designs, Lynn Morgan Design has done some equally inspiring city projects. I love the coral, black and white palette of the New York home featured in photos two and five. Very chic.
I also loved Lynn’s response to how she would characterize her decorating style. She says: “That’s a difficult question but I’d say my ‘hallmark’ is what I’d describe as refined simplicity with dashes of color and modernism- but sophisticated. Although I’d characterize my taste as traditional, I do have great appreciation for contemporary details and how they contribute to the overall design effect.”
Her appreciation for and ability to execute both traditional and contemporary designs have certainly contributed to one wide ranging and inspiring portfolio that I was happy to stumble across. Enjoy!
