Sunday Style | The Pursuit of Style

Another great week filled with inspiration from some women I truly admire. 1st Dibs shared an interview with makeup mogul Bobbi Brown, someone whose approach to beauty I’ve always appreciated. When describing her brand philosophy she said: “I want women to look and feel like themselves–only prettier and more confident.” Love that.

I did a little cheer for Anne Foster and Suysel dePedro Cunningham, the design duo behind one of my favorite interior design firms, Tilton Fenwick, for an awesome feature in The New York Times.  I’ve really enjoyed following their successes over the years.

Apparently I’ve been living under a rock because I just discovered Decade Diary, the blog of Brooklyn based illustrator, Bernadette Pascua. It’s amazing. Go get lost for a few hours if you aren’t already following.

Caitlin Flemming, the author of one of one of my daily reads, Sacramento Street, launched a beautiful new website for her interior design business, Caitlin Flemming Design. Her sophisticated crisp clean interiors always make me reconsider the riot of color going on in my own home.

What inspired you this week?

  1. I think Bobbi Brown’s approach to beauty is so elegant and practical. Love her Telluride home, but wish the 1st dibs article would have showcased more of her interiors. Maybe you can convince her for a more in depth tour…
