Art can undoubtedly make a room but shopping for it requires a bit of hunting and I’m always on the lookout for new resources to share. When Uncommon Goods asked to collaborate I browsed through their home decor collection and found some great pieces I thought you might like, but when I came across their beautiful  artists gallery I really started to get excited.

There among the huge selection of wall art were pieces by two of my favorite artists, Kate Lewis and Maira Kalman, who up until now, I had no idea sold prints! In a twist of serendipity, I just looked back at this post I wrote about Kate Lewis’ artwork (over a year ago!) and in it I mentioned loving a piece called ‘Big Orange Chair’. That exact piece is available as a print on Uncommon Goods. It’s fate, no?

After calming myself down after the initial Kate Lewis/Maira Kalman freak out, I was happy to discover a few new-to-me artists whose work I also love. The intricacy of Denise Fiedler’s papercuts amazes me, and I’d like to live in Yao Cheng’s pink watercolor beach scene. If you’re expecting, or know someone who’s expecting, I think an illustrated coat of arms by Patricia Carlin would make a wonderful addition to any nursery and is such a thoughtful and unique gift.

Hope you found something you like!

This post is sponsored by Uncommon Goods, a site whose artwork I’d be happy to have hanging on my walls. Thoughts are my own.
