Last week, I was excited to read that Carolina Irving will be succeeding Miles Redd as the new Creative Director of Oscar de la Renta Home. After turning out beautiful collections since 2003, Miles is stepping down to focus on his interior design business–and understandably so, have you seen this home currently featured in House Beautiful?

Oscar certainly knows how to put a team together and after being an admirer of Carolina’s work for years, I’m looking forward to seeing what she turns out for the brand. If it’s anything like her New York City home, we have a lot to look forward to!

Having previously spent a decade as an editor at large for House & Garden then moving on to working with Hamish Bowles at Vogue and founding her own textile line, Caroline is undeniably an arbiter of style. Her interiors are a little bit bohemian, a little bit English country, and a whole lot of chic. Can’t wait for the debut collection!

  1. I loved seeing the feature on Miles Redd’s gorgeous home in the latest issue of House Beautful! However, I dont think I have heard of Carolina Iriving, I will have to go check out her website. But after already seeing these few pictures I have a feeling I am equally going to love her style as well — but also I wouldn’t expect anything less from Oscar de la Renta!
