If Karlie Kloss didn’t seem to be such a sweetheart, I might be inclined to hate her just a little bit. At only 21 years old, the mid-western beauty recently moved into her first home: a West Village townhouse decorated by none other than Nate Berkus. Cue the jealousy.
Having walked the runways for the likes of Karl Lagerfeld, Marc Jacobs, Givenchy, Gucci, and Louis Vuitton (to name a few) Karlie’s success is most definitely well deserved. With a punishing travel schedule and a job that requires her to constantly become other people’s vision, I can only imagine how wonderful it must feel to have a place truly her own.
Unsurprisingly, Nate Berkus delivered an expertly layered space that is also age appropriate. Retail finds like the Restoration Hardware sofa mix with to-the-trade pieces and souvenirs from Karlie’s travels. Personally, I’m loving the color palette: a neutral base with accents of red, yellow, and emerald green–those sconces!!
I’m sure we’ll be seeing more of Karlie for years to come, and I for one, am definitely looking forward to following the evolution of her style and space.
