LOFT Resort Border Shorts | ISARO by Jill Golden Skinny Cuff | ISARO by Jill Golden Wide Cuff | Python Clutch | Sam Edelman Yuri Sandals | C. Wonder Ikat iPhone Case | Loren Hope Petra Earrings | Jules Reid Tiger Circus
Cinco de Mayo may have come and gone, but these vibrant pieces make me want to keep the fiesta going just a little bit longer! First off, have you been to LOFT lately? It’s not one of my regular stops (p.s when did they drop the Ann Taylor from their name?) but when I spotted these shorts in the window I put on the breaks so quickly there should have been a cartoon sound effect.
They’ve obviously re-branded since the last time I visited and there were some real gems! I came home with the shorts, but was also tempted by this rope and rhinestone necklace, pom pom pouch (striped side please), and gladiator sandals. Plus, it was such welcome change to pay less than $100 for a piece of clothing. WHY is everything so expensive these days?!
Moving on from my LOFT discovery, I also wanted to share that Jules Reid is having an AMAZING sale. Like 70% off amazing. I’ve always loved her clothing but admired from afar until yesterday when I discovered the sale of all sales. A Liam skirt in the tiger print I’ve always coveted is now on its way to me. Bam!
Other things I think are awesome and think you’ll enjoy too: this etsy shop, OngoingLoveAffair, which sells some of the most beautiful python clutches I’ve ever seen and these beaded sandals which are just begging to dress up so many of my outfits. Party on, my friends!
Apologies for the sporadic posting lately, this spring is turning out to be a crazy one (in the best of ways!) I realized today that I’ll be out of town 3 out of the next 4 weekends. Totally using that as an excuse for why my bag from this weekend’s trip is still half unpacked on my bedroom floor. It’s just going to get re-packed for this weekend’s trip to Charleston!
Since I’ve admittedly been dropping the ball on this little blog I thought I’d take the opportunity to throw it into your court.
So let’s chat…
I never travel without: a scarf for the plane. Am I the only one that’s always freezing?
My style icon is: Giovanna Battaglia (fashion), Anna Spiro (interiors)
The last thing I bought was: this adorable bikini for my trip to Charleston.
Lately I’m inspired by: Who What Wear’s new shelter site, Domaine. It almost fills my Domino void.
In honor of Mother’s Day… My mother always told me: What you see is what you’re going to be. She gets a kick out of that one!

As always, I’m looking forward to reading your responses in the comments!
I feel such a big surge of hometown pride whenever I stumble across amazing places on the Cape like the Salt House Inn in Provincetown. Aside from summer traffic, I think the only downfall to growing up on the Cape is that you don’t get to play tourist often enough.
It would be pretty indulgent to book a stay when my parent’s house is just a few towns over, but I’m so tempted. The owners did an amazing job of modernizing a quintessential B&B while still retaining all of the New England charm you’d expect at a smaller inn.
The design is perfection. It’s cozy and inviting and the pieces feel collected over time. I especially appreciate the subtle nautical touches. Sometimes coastal designs can be a bit too thematic with starfish and anchors everywhere. The Salt House Inn feels authentic.
Who’s ready to book a trip? I’m off to Virginia to celebrate my sister’s graduation. Have a great weekend!
You know what they say, April showers bring May flowers! It seemed only appropriate to share these absolutely stunning fine art photographs from Paul Lange’s Big Blooms collection on the first day of May.
If they look familiar, you might recognize them from the chic Manhattan office of Aerin Lauder. Her impeccable taste never fails to inspire and I was thrilled to discover Paul’s work among the many covetable items in her office.
Just another piece for the someday list!
P.S if you can’t wait for the real thing, I was really impressed with this pink poppy photograph from Art.com.
Kenneth Jay Lane Lapis Spike Necklace | Athena Procopiou Scarf | Ivy Kirzhner Flats | Tory Burch Spectator Mini (25% off!) | Wayne Pate ‘Olive Jug’
Interior designer, Vern Yip, recently helped Diet Pepsi freshen up for spring by designing this limited edition peacock patterned mini can. In celebration of Diet Pepsi’s Love Every Sip campaign I’m sharing a spring love list inspired by Vern’s design.
When I read that Vern used Dusk Blue, one of Pantone’s spring fashion color report colors, I immediately pulled together some of the blue items that have made their way onto my wish list. A lapis lazuli necklace I think I actually might like better than the original turquoise, fancy feet flats, a favorite piece of artwork by Wayne Pate, and a statement making scarf.
Pair any of these accessories with crisp whites and you’ll be set straight through summer. Has there ever been a more perfect color combination?
P.S if you’d like to share what’s on your love list tweet @dietpepsi, #loveeverysip!
