1. Freshening up my inspiration page. Scalamandre’s Tigre is my favorite animal print du jour. Oh, what I would do for a pair of those pillows!

2.Contemplating the perfect shade of charcoal to paint my dining room table. I think I’m pretty close to pulling the trigger on Benjamin Moore’s “Soot”.

3.Spending way too much time curating my Pinterest boards.

4.Vetting recipes to contribute to Thanksgiving dinner. Garden and Gun’s Cornbread Oyster Dressing is a front runner.

5.Writing guest posts galore for the holidays. I’ll be sure to share once they’re posted!

6.Thankful, as always, to the men and women who risk their lives make sacrifices daily to protect and serve our country.

What have you been up to lately?

I’ve got a little something up my sleeve which I can hardly wait to share with you very soon! Since keeping secrets isn’t exactly a strength of mine, I thought I’d satiate my urge to spill by sharing the inspiration behind it. You can let your imagination run wild and take a guess at what I’m up to. I’d love to hear them!

We made the big move this weekend and are getting settled into our new condo. It went much smoother than anticipated–except for the bed which is still at our old place, but that’s another story. It’s killing me to be sitting in my cube right now instead of organizing things and getting a head start on decorating. One of the things I’m most excited about is hanging the artwork I’ve been collecting over the past year. In our first apartment, our walls were barren for much longer than I’d care to admit. Unsurprisingly, it just never really felt like home. This print from The Love Shop would be perfect for a gallery wall I’m planning in our kitchen. Wouldn’t it be inspiring to read this every morning while you make breakfast? I can’t wait to get everything together so I can FINALLY share some photos!

I dream of the day when I’ll have more than 800 square feet to decorate. Ohh the possibilities! An office space is definitely part of my daydreams–I’ll need a headquarters for my future boutique of course! Indulging myself further in this fantasy, I created an office space I’d actually want to sit in for eight hours a day. Here’s hoping my daydreams become a reality sooner rather than later…
P.S I’m so obsessed with the Anthro dhurrie. Isn’t it gorgeous?!
