How do you prefer your silver spots, on your pillows or on your toes? John Robshaw’s mirrored pillows have been around for awhile (Olivia Palermo has them in her apartment) but had fallen off my radar until I spied these DVF studded pumps on Shopbop.

Of course as soon as I saw the shoes my obsession with the pillows returned and now they’re right back on my wish list (along with the shoes!) I’m curious, which are you more likely to spend on: your home or your closet? For the past few years I think my home has been winning out. Time to start re-investing in the wardrobe!

In an ideal world my home would be filled with John Robshaw linens. The Indian block printed textiles are colorful and classic with just the right amount of bohemian flair. I’m particularly drawn to the blue colorways which remind me of my collection of blue and white ginger jars. If only I had made their sample sale last week in NYC!

I always look forward to reading the holiday gift guides in my favorite glossies (and now online mags and blogs too!) so I’ve decided to get in on the fun!
