Lesley Evers Dress | Loren Hope Necklace | David Hicks Wallpaper | Jonathan Adler Bowl

Yesterday’s post on Eddie Ross’s classic black and white interiors took me down the rabbit hole of my photo archives searching for more inspiration. I immediately found it in the form of Brooklyn Blonde’s gorgeous geometric DVF skirt. I’m still kicking myself for not buying it when I had the chance!

The geometric pattern reminded me of one of my favorite David Hicks wallpapers, appropriately named ‘Hexagon’. I love the more modern take on black and white.

If like me, you’re mourning the missed opportunity of the DVF skirt, check out the Juliette dress from Lesley Evers. I’d pair mine with a tassel necklace from Loren Hope and a blazer. Black and white goes mod!

P.S don’t worry, The Pursuit of Style hasn’t gone monochromatic, I’ll be back tomorrow in full color!

IN PURSUIT

Necklace | Painting | Beach Towels | Makeup Case | Sheets

It’s been awhile since my last “In Pursuit” post which of course means there have been quite a few additions to my wish list. Yesterday I checked off this Diana Delgado painting which I can’t wait to hang in our bedroom. In the same vein, I’m loving these lattice printed sheets. I am literally counting down the days until my pool opens Memorial Day weekend, and one of these ikat beach towels seems like a necessity for lounging. While I’m at it, I’d like to add a Steffanie Johnson tote for stowing sunscreen and other essentials. Finally, Loren Hope’s Roxy necklace is just the thing to jazz up all of my little white dresses. Anyone else as ready for summer as I am?
