I’ve always loved the color combination of camel and orange. It seems especially perfect in the fall. Aerin Lauder’s incredibly chic living room with it’s orange walls and to-die-for leopard print couch is an amazing example of how this color combo can be applied in interiors.

In fashion, I love camel paired with orange accessories. Doesn’t that orange scarf pop against her polka-dotted sweater? Personally, I’m dying to get my hands on Pour la Victoire’s Morandi Satchel. It’s like a Celine Luggage Tote and 3.1 Philip Lim Pashli had a gorgeous baby together. Don’t you think?

AN ADLER INSPIRED DIY

I would love to test my green thumbs by adding a pair of fiddle leaf fig trees to our apartment. Jonathan Adler’s living room above is my inspiration. His orange lacquer planters are show stoppers and if I’m going to recreate the look I’ll need something equally amazing.

Enter these chippendale planters which exploded onto my radar last week thanks to the one and only Ms. Meares. I’m thinking a coat or two of Benjamin Moore’s Electric Orange would do just the trick.

What do you think, can I be trusted to bring the outdoors in?

BON APPETIT

Hello, hello! I’m back from my Thanksgiving induced food coma and ready to give this blog some much needed attention! I hope you all had a wonderful time with family and loved ones and scored a deal or two for yourself this weekend. I promise this is the last you’ll hear about my Thanksgiving table but I thought I’d share a picture of the finished product for anyone interested.  The round dining table wasn’t exactly ideal for the festivities but I listened to my inner Tim Gunn chanting “Make it work!”
Looking forward to getting back in the swing of things!

TAKE A SEAT

Remember yesterday’s de Gournay tablescape and my obsession with the orange chair? Well, I’m upping the ante! Behold this orange tufted beauty complete with nailhead trim. In the right space (read: my space) this would be a show stopper! Sadly we’re seperated by an ocean, so I’m going to need to live vicariously through one lucky Brit– I’m looking your way Will! I know it’s bright enough ha!
