I pinned the above image of Emma Stone from Who What Wear about a month ago and haven’t been able to get that amazing trench out of my head. Emma is wearing Burberry (of course) but I recently came across a much more affordable option that I think you might be excited about. Mango’s contrast trimmed trench comes in at just under $130 but will give you the same timeless look.

Since I’m a big proponent of updated classics, I’d throw in a leopard Clare Vivier clutch and set of drop dead gorgeous Asha horn bangles to jazz up the ensemble. Pair the above items with your favorite pair of skinnies and the photogs might be snapping your picture on the street!

Do you ever look through your inspiration files and realize you’ve been collecting a ton of images with the same theme? I definitely notice patterns in what inspires me (i.e the trench coat photos I’ve been hoarding.) When I’m feeling a little lost on the fashion or design front, it’s always helpful to re-connect with my style through the images I’m drawn to. Given my long- standing obsession with the trench, I think it might be time to start saving up for an upgraded version. You can never go wrong with classic Burberry!
